It took me a very long time to manage my symptoms from my Fibromyalgia and FND.

For me, it is like a puzzle where you have to put all of the pieces together in order for it to work.

My current symptoms include dizziness, fatigue, and fainting. These were hard symptoms to manage and there were many components. Some of the things that have helped me along the way are the following:

Diet: I needed to find the proper diet for myself. It is all a trial-and-error sort of game and sometimes it still is. I find when I decrease the amount of sugar and carbs I tend to feel better and have more energy. As you can imagine, decreasing sugar and carbs can be very challenging at times. I continue to work through this and find what works best for me.

Activity: Another component that helps me is staying active which can include working, going to the gym, or even staying busy with friends. I also love to take my Golden Retrievers for a walk!

Hydration: HYDRATION is a big one, especially with my dizziness. Staying hydrated makes a huge difference for me. I try to drink 2- 36 oz. hydroflasks a day which means having a water bottle with me at all times. Sometimes I put a Liquid IVs into my water to help give it flavor and provide me with electrolytes.

Medication: Finally, I take a couple of different medications. Medication is just a small part of what helps my symptoms. In order for my medication to work, I must stay on top of all the other components.

What works for one person may not always work for another; it is a matter of trying new things. Although It has been such a rollercoaster figuring out what works for me I am so happy that I can now manage my symptoms. If any of you are experiencing similar symptoms please feel free to email me. I have first-hand experience that I would be happy to share with you!
